Director of Sales - Technical Staffing

Tech Quarry is seeking a Director of Sales to join our team of Talent Professionals in an agency setting. With a high sense of urgency and flexibility, the incumbent will drive existing and new business, grow revenue and manage a team of Account Managers. The Director of Sales will…
  • Meet and exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand client base
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting client relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

  • 2+ years in a Management or Sales Lead position, experience in a technical agency (preferred)
  • 4+ years of Account Manager/ Business Development or Sales Manager experience in a technical staffing agency
  • 1+ year of technical Recruiting experience (agency preferred)
  • Solid relationship driven sales process best practices
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation and ability to influence all levels of the organization, including C-level
  • High sense of urgency; demonstrated success & confidence in a highly competitive market
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
